Hello sweet friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Ours was busy, busy, busy. I worked on blog projects and my husband worked on his closet…which is almost done! What?!
He’s gotten so good at the closet building, I tell ya. ;)
There is still crown mold and trim to do…and doors to add. (his needs doors since it’s more of a “built-in” in our bedroom)
BUT the new flooring is done in our bedroom (and in the upstairs hallway…that did have carpet. Hallelujah to no more carpet anywhere in our house!)

I’ll be sharing the whole bedroom makeover and his built-in IKEA closet hack at some point in the future. Keep an eye out over in my stories on Instagram for snippets and sneak peeks though.

………………………………………………………………………………………

I have quite a few more colors in my painted furniture color series to share with y’all. Today it’s one of my favorites…NAVY painted furniture.
Why oh why don’t I used this color more often. I love it!
I have even begun trying to incorporate it a bit more in our home.

If you missed any of the rest of the color series, be sure to scroll all the way down for the links to all of them.

I hope you enjoy all the beautiful furniture I am sharing here today. My friends have done some gorgeous makeovers below.
Be sure to hop on over and visit them, see all the details of their navy painted furniture makeovers, and maybe even make a new friend or two!

Hmm, I had more “navy blue” than I thought…but still not near enough for such a fabulous color.
I feel like some navy blue is definitely coming into our decor here at our house.
It already has in our master closet…and soon to be finished remodeled master bedroom.

  1. I am so inspired by all of your work! I love navy blue! I have an old dresser I picked up cheap and painted it navy blue. I placed it in my guest bedroom as an accent with teal. I love the look. I wanted to share a pic here, but couldn’t figure out how to.

    1. Aw, thank you, Sherry! There were some really gorgeous ones in here from my friends too. And oh I bet that is lovely. I love navy and teal/aqua together. If you want to share a photo, you can send it to my email and nancy at artsychicksrule dot com. :) xo

  2. These are all great! I’m just about to start on a navy-ish project of my own! Great inspiration to actually start! :-)

  3. This was fun seeing so many ideas of how to use navy. Love the gold and navy! Good luck on the floors!!

  4. Maybe we are all just getting over the floaty white, mint, pink, grey epoch…I found myself starting a chair in a lovely seaglass color only to stop after the first coat and painting it a really dark teal from FolkArt Chalk paints called Turkish Tile. I ablolutely love it and so has everyone who has seen it. Things change…

    1. Oh I don’t know, I probably won’t ever!! lol But I do appreciate all the beautiful colors out there. I am wanting to do more and more of them! I bet your chair is a beauty! xoxo
