Our simple fall porch just goes to show you it doesn’t have to be extravagant to be beautiful!

Hello, sweet friends!

We are fully into fall, and I have finally got my fall porch up. As much as it is. Which is not as much as some years. But hey, I’m still recovering (and doing well!), so I haven’t been as into getting it done.
But I knew I definitely wanted a little bit of fall on the porch.

I don’t really do Halloween, so this stays up through Thanksgiving. That’s not to say the inside of my home stays fall that long. Most years, it certainly isn’t. lol Fall stays outside through Thanksgiving, but inside we are full-on Christmas earlier than that…again, most years!! ha! After Thanksgiving, I let the porch follow suit.

How about you? What do you do? Same? I won’t lie, the older I get, the simpler I want it.

Here’s a peek at our porch this year.

Our Simple Fall Porch

Front door with a floral wreath, flanked by pink and red chrysanthemums in DIY concrete planters on brick steps, with the house number 109 on the wall.

Those faux concrete planters were a fun addition.

You can read all about them here: DIY Faux Concrete Planters

And I have to say, we bought this doormat back in 2023 and it’s still going strong! Love it! You can find it here.

A front porch with a white bench, harvest-themed fall decor, potted mums, and a wooden front door.

Our neighbors tell us how pretty our porch always is…and of course, I’m always like, well, I slacked a bit this year and didn’t do much!! haha! Overachiever…fail! But nice to know it still looks pretty enough.

A white wooden bench on a simple porch decorated for fall, featuring a white throw blanket, two decorative pillows, and a rustic wooden crate filled with an autumn-themed floral wreath.

A few old things…

Two potted plants on metal stands, a sign that reads friends gather here, three faux sunflowers, and three decorative white pumpkins create simple fall decor on a porch.

…like these napkin decoupage pumpkins.

Two decorative pillows on a white wooden bench for simple fall decor; one is orange with the word gather embroidered on it, and the other has a tan and orange paisley pattern.

Pillowcase can be found here.

Remember this wreath? You can find it here: DIY Simple Autumn Wreath

A white wooden crate on wheels labeled Harvest Market, filled with an autumn-themed floral wreath, creates simple fall decor for a porch.

I popped it right into this little cart I made, which can be found here: Harvest Crate For Fall Decor

On the other side of the porch…

Two white rocking chairs with pumpkin pillows sit on a porch on either side of a small table decorated with pumpkins, greenery, and a sign that reads Hello Fall, creating a simple fall porch.

…our beloved rockers that we do actually sit in!

A white porch table styled with simple fall decor, featuring a potted plant, a woven basket of pumpkins, and a hello FALL sign, accented by lanterns and additional pumpkins on the floor.

This little table is a bit worse for wear. I have “fixed” it several times now, but it’s sadly near the end of its life.
You can see the makeover for it here: DIY Tiled Table Top

A wicker tray on a porch table holds simple fall decor, including a white pumpkin, two faux white flowers, a wooden bead garland, and a textured vase with dried pampas grass.

Remember this sweet sign???

A vertical wooden sign reading hello, FALL leans against a white brick wall next to four white pumpkins, offering simple fall decor for a porch.

It was a thrifty find, very different than what it is now!
You can read all about it here: Hello Fall Sign

And of course, my sweet pumpkin pillows.

A decorative throw pillow featuring a watercolor-style orange pumpkin topped with a floral arrangement, resting on a white wooden chair as part of simple fall decor.

Square throw pillow on a white chair, featuring a watercolor print of an orange pumpkin, a green pumpkin, and fall-colored flowers for simple fall decor.

Which you can find here: Fall Pumpkin Pillows

And of course, my mostly “not-traditional” fall wreath.

A floral wreath of peach, purple, and white hydrangea blossoms with eucalyptus greenery hanging on a wooden front door, perfect for simple porch decor.

You can read all about it here: Rustic Fall Wreath

I’ll be honest: I love these fall colors more than the traditional orange/brown. I’ve always said it! And I still feel this way. Love just a hint of orange, with purples, plums, etc. Maybe even a little bit of aqua occasionally. Which is totally not a fall color, but it sure looks good with rust/orange.

I hope you enjoyed a peek at our fall porch this year.

In case you missed it in the newsletter, I have a fun HOLIDAY box for you all! I curated it so thoughtfully and made some items myself! Lots of hours went into it…curating the giftable items, making the “handmade” items, sourcing everything, the boxes, the landing pages (tackling code…I am NOT techy, ugh! You know I pulled my hair out a little bit, haha!), just every single bit of it. I hope you take part in it! My wonderful friends here!

It’s a very special Holiday Box I am so proud of! I have never done anything quite like this before in the 14+ years I have been sharing here with you all. And it’s perfect for pampering yourselves…OR gifting a friend or loved one (the items are geared towards your lady friends/family).

Anyway, want to know more?? Check out this page right here! A special gift…from me…to you. xoxo

I hope you all have a wonderfully blessed weekend!!

xoxo

The word Nancy is written in elegant, flowing black script, reminiscent of Chalk Style Paint For Furniture, with a heart shape used to form the dot above the letter i. The background is plain white.
