Coastal Decor Galore (the best for last!)
Yep, I saved the very best for last.
Or at least my very MOST favorite Homearama home…for last.
(you can see part 1 and part 2 here)
When I said, “Coastal Decor Galore“….I meant it.
Just wait til you see.
Lots and lots of decor inspiration for you!
There was not much I didn’t love about this home. I even shared some of it over on Instagram the day I attended the Homearama.
Ok, are you ready for some drool worthy eye candy?
That photo collage is enough of a teaser, right?
THIS is what we were greeted with upon entering through the front door.
Oh my.
The driftwood mirrors, the oyster shell lighting, the color on the walls…the ceiling.
All perfection.
Right?
I think I might skip that rug in this space, however. There’s a lot going on in this room already.
Sorry for the quality of the photos, they were all taken with my cell phone.
Let’s head upstairs first….
Just loving the wall gallery on both sides of the stairwell.
This home epitomizes what it is to live on the coast and surrounded by water. (quite literally here in this area of Hampton Roads)
Lots of marsh, wildlife, seafood, boating, beach, etc.
The light in the stairwell was great too.
There were several bedrooms upstairs. A “lego” room (cuteness overload), this girls room with the pink retro trike….
and this room with the “chalkboard” wall.
The Homearama was in Suffolk, VA. We are located where the red arrow is pointing over there on the far right edge of VA. (if you can see that in the photo)
And of course the master bedroom…
Just lovely.
And the ceiling above the bed…
The master bath ….
I loved the nautical touches everywhere.
Sorry there fella! I tried hard to get photos without people in them.
It was packed but I somehow managed to get pretty good shots most of the time.
Wood “look” tile.
Then you head into the walk in master closet from there.
I could really use a closet like this, couldn’t you??
Heading back downstairs to the Family Room…
Really, I loved it all.
How cool is that lamp?
Coastal touches were everywhere.
And Southern ones too. :)
This light in the kitchen/eating area….
And this light….
The butler’s pantry/wine bar area in between the kitchen and dining rooms.
The weathered wood effect is great and goes perfectly in this home.
Neat…
And of course one wasn’t enough. ;)
Which leads into the mudroom and garage.
AND pantry.
Which also had a pretty cool ceiling…
They really didn’t miss a detail here.
Filled with products from Virginia and I just love the Virginia baskets up top!
And into the garage to find this…
Very nice!
What a fabulous home with fabulous decor.
I was (clearly) in love with it all!
I hope you enjoyed today’s post with a bit of coastal decor eye candy.
I can’t wait to share some fun new happenings with you next week! :)
Have a great weekend friends!!
EDITED to add….I found a video of this home! Take a look. :)
Be sure to follow me on Instagram and Facebook if you don’t already!
I always post projects and things I’m working on
long before it hits the blog…..
….plus lots of fun random daily things too.
What a beautiful home tour! That closet and pantry are to die for! Lots of DIY shell ideas there, too!
Thanks! I agree! :)
Nancy
I should go see these in person! (I live in Newport News.) Wonderful rooms and some of them “to die for.” I love coastal touches, but this one had so many that it felt too saturated for me, but maybe in person it wasn’t so overwhelming.
Hi “neighbor”! :)
Yes, I can see how it might be….and it really might be a little overkill on the theme. I was just loving it all that I probably didn’t notice. ;)
Nancy
I was making mental notes of all my favorite items and the list got too long! I love it all! Thanks for sharing!!
Debbie
I know, you and me both, as I was walking through that day! ;)
Hope you have a great weekend Debbie!

Love the ceilings! Love the heron paintings, and the bird pillows on the bed, and that adorable tricycle! Not too hep on so many seashells.
Hi Rose!
Yes, there was a tad bit of shells in this home. ;) They did a little overkill. I’d probably pare it down a bit. But the items apart from the rest were fabulous! Maybe just not all in one home.
Have a great weekend friend!! xo
Nancy
So much to love! Wish I had that pantry. I think the dining room is my favorite! We are in the middle of redoing our living room ceiling and we are doing ours just like the one in the bedroom! I had the hardest time finding pictures to show my husband what I wanted. This would have been perfect! Pinned anyway. :) XO
Thank you Christy! :)
Can’t wait to see it done!!!

I don’t know which my favorite room was or what decor item I want to copy or shop for because there were too many wonderful things to see! What a beautiful house and tour! I’m sure you’ve filled up on great ideas for future projects. Thanks so much for sharing your outing. Now I’m going back to look at everthing again!
I am with you!! It’s like coastal overload!! ;) Lots of fun ideas for sure.
