Things I’m Loving #2 (Amazon Finds)
Another round of Things I’m Loving, number two in the new series!

I’m always coming across things on Amazon that I end up loving and using—sometimes from people I follow, and sometimes just from searching for a solution and finding a great little gem along the way.
I know how helpful it is when others share what they genuinely love, so I wanted to pass my favorites along to you, too. I hope you find something you love!
Oh, and as you can see, I’ve decided to keep this series going… I’m just not sure how often yet—maybe once a month?
If you missed the first one in the series, you can find it right here: Things I’m Loving #1
I’ve decided to keep all the “Things I’m Loving” in one big list instead of having multiple smaller lists on Amazon. You can find it here.
However, I may do special “Things I’m Loving” collections, separate from the main list, that are specific, like holiday-themed, summer, Mother’s Day, etc.
Oh, and if you’ve never visited my Amazon Storefront, I have a variety of “Idea Lists” featuring products like kitchen ideas, home DIY products, decor, and more. Hop over and check it out here!
As an Amazon Affiliate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
I’ll start with home/food, etc., and then move on to beauty, personal items:
Let me warn you, lol, these are majorly random things, but they are “things I’m loving”, as random as they are. But those are the things we use day in and day out, the random things no one really thinks about, right?
I recently found these hooks for our walk-in closet. I needed a place to hang my robe and some other things on occasion. These are great because they fold up when not in use. Plus, they look and feel like brass, nice and heavy, and beautiful too.

You can find them here. (They are on “Spring Sale” right now.)
As you might know (or not know), I make CP (cold-processed) soap and have for, gosh, almost 30 years. Wow, time flies! It’s actually one of my favorite things to do/make. Back then, almost 30 years ago, I taught myself how to make soap and soy candles. That was my first business. Almost 10 years with that one selling all over the US. I don’t miss making candles, but I miss making all the other things. (soaps, perfumes, room sprays, etc.) I still do for myself, friends, and family, but I just no longer sell them.
Back to the soap dish, haha, my husband and I LOVE using my soaps at the sinks in the house because they make such a huge difference in our skin. Both of our hands’ skin dries out terribly when using regular liquid hand soap. We never have that problem at all when I have my soaps at the sinks. It’s amazing how different our hands are!
And with that, it can be a mess in a soap dish. I’ve tried ’em all! But then I found these and fell in love. They have a slanted base so excess water runs out. Perfect!

They have square and round ones. I have some of both shapes. They also come in several colors.
You can find them all here.
And if you are interested at all about the soapmaking, you can check out this post I wrote about it here: Natural Soap Making – A Tutorial In Photos
I shared on Instagram a few videos when I last made soap:

Went off on a tangent there!
I am actually getting ready to make more soap in about a week, regular bar soaps, kitchen soaps, and special facial soaps. Maybe I’ll try to video some of the process. Not my strong suit, but I’ll try! lol
Citrus squeezers are great. I’ve been using them for years. As a matter of fact, I had one of those yellow ones for lemons and a green one for limes. However, they were both a bit past their prime with paint peeling, etc. Well, I squeezed the yellow one and pop!, it broke in two. Time for a new one!

I found this one and love it. Heavy-duty and works great for lemons and limes.
You can find it here.
Yes, I know, the weather is getting warmer, but I have to tell y’all about this heater I found. I’m using it right now, since this weather doesn’t know what it wants to do.
It works great! It oscillates, has a timer, remote control, and more. We both just love it.

Pricepoint is great, too.
You can find it here.
These are great little power banks. They come in several colors and magnetically attach to the back of your phone. So, no plugging it in when you are out and about, it just attaches to the back of your phone. Very convenient!

You can find it here. (also on Spring Sale)
It’s pricey but worth it, in my opinion. If you are looking for a plant-based (with great ingredients) protein powder, this is it. Oh my goodness, so many flavors and so delicious. And not a million extra ingredients, which I like. It’s so hard to find a good one out there.

My favorite flavors are this one, Pumpkin Spice, and Banana Cinnamon. Yum!
You can find them all (and the rest of the flavors) here.
Want to sample them all before you commit to the large bags?? That’s exactly what I did when I first started using this brand.
You can get a sample pack of 8 different flavors right here.
My fave recipe:
1/2 scoop Almond Protein Powder (below)
1/2 scoop Choc Peanut Butter Powder (above)
1 large Tb natural peanut butter
1 Tb cocoa powder
(sometimes a few slices of banana)
Almond Milk or your milk of choice
Ice
It’s sinfully delicious!! lol
Now, I don’t really eat many sweets, if any, so I don’t like very sweet things. I personally think the protein powder is a little too sweet for my tastes, so here is my fix.

I found this one that contains only one ingredient. Also plant-based. If you don’t care about it being plant-based, you could use regular whey protein instead.
Just mix equal parts of this one and the Truvani ones I listed above to cut sweetness, as needed.
I hadn’t planned to share this one, but we use it occasionally as well.

This one has been well-loved by our entire family. I just looked back at my order history, and we have ordered it 20 times in the last few years.
You can find it here.
I try to reduce grains, wheat, gluten, etc., personally, and love spaghetti. It’s been hard over the years to find an “angel hair” style that is decent, if you could even find gluten-free angel hair at all. Well, I came across this brand a year or so ago, and it is the only thing I buy now. It is the absolute closest to regular angel hair pasta I have found.

I’ve also used other pasta from them, which is equally as good.
You can find it here.
The same goes for sweeteners! I’ve struggled to find anything that really tastes good. And finding one without erythritol is hard. I don’t want to consume that because of the health risks (and it’s still in SO many sweeteners, crazy).
This one is the BEST. The closest to real sugar that I have ever had. Perfect for baking, too. I’ve made desserts with it, and people are shocked when I tell them. By the way, all the sweeteners and protein powders I’ve listed here have ZERO erythritol.

I think it’s this particular blend of sweeteners that makes the difference. It is so good.
You can find it here.
Another sweetener that’s great.

I have it in Unflavored, Coconut (which is great with bubbly water and a lime, yum), French Vanilla, English Toffee (makes a great “cream soda” with bubbly water), and Lemon Twist.
Each flavor I mentioned is linked in the text above.
I ADORE tea and drink it daily. All kinds, English Breakfast, Flavored teas, Matcha, but Earl Grey is probably my favorite. At least it’s the one I gravitate toward most days. And this one is just delicious!!

It’s loose tea, so you’ll need the next thing I’m loving, too. ;)
You can find this tea here.
These are great for loose teas and hold the tea leaves well. I love that it comes in a set of 3.

You can find them here.
This one is yummy too, and it’s my nightly decaf tea drink choice.

You can find it here.
Let’s talk beauty now!
Okay, so I was influenced on this one! But I love it.

It’s great for dark under-eye circles. It’s got a great color to counteract them. I apply it under my concealer. Some of you might be able to use this alone, but I have olive skin tone and darker under eyes, so I need all the help I can get! lol
You can find it here.
This one is my favorite over my neutral lipstick. I usually line my lips, put on my very neutral lipstick, and then apply this over top. It gives it a bit of color and shimmer, plus it just feels great! And it’s peppermint flavored.

It’s so pretty!
You can find it here.
This one is great by itself, well, they both are, but I typically only wear this one when I don’t have other lipstick on. It’s a great sheer, neutral with just a hint of color.

You can find it here.
Lastly, for today, are these polishes. They have been a “things I’m loving” for a long time. I absolutely adore a neutral nail, maybe white sheer or pink sheer with a hint of shimmer, or even lavender sheer. Well, this is it! The best I’ve found for that look.

This is their “Original” one, which I fell in love with long ago. That almost undetectable shimmer, ahhh, so pretty.
You can find it here.
And Pink, which is my favorite.

Perfectly sheer, with a pretty hint of pink and the slightest of shimmer. Love.
You can find it here.
Their newest shade is Lavender.

It’s really beautiful, too. This one has a tad more color than the other two. I still like it quite a lot, though. It’s definitely not as dark as it appears in the bottle, however. None of them is.
You can find it here.
You must get the base and top coats, too! The top coat is everything… super shiny and dries insanely fast (which I absolutely need, lol). I can paint my nails at night and hop into bed shortly after without waking up to smudged nails. Such a win!

This is a great set of both. You can find them here.
And that’ it for today’s “things”!
I hope you’re enjoying my new “Things I’m Loving” series—and today’s second edition! And I hope you’ve found some things you will love, too.
PIN it to save it!

I’d love to know if you have used any of these! And if any of them are already “things you are loving”, too.
Have an amazing weekend, sweet friends!
xoxo

Harney & Sons makes a decaf Earl Grey in sachets, too. I first got introduced to Harney & Sons through their Paris tea, which a local coffee company uses for their iced tea. Sensational!
Nice!! I will look for that! Harney & Sons is one of my favorite brands. Thanks, Tina! xo
I put several of these items in my shopping cart, Nancy. Thanks for the finds.
Have a fabulous weekend.
Yay! Hope you’ll love them, too!! Have a wonderful weekend, Michele! xoxo
WOW! Your homemade soap looks beautiful!!! Does the slant on the soap dish keep it from getting gummy? I don’t care for liquid soap. have a great weekend!
Thanks, Addie!! It’s SO much fun to make! Yes, it does seem to help keep it from getting too gummy and soft, from what I’ve seen so far. Regular soap dishes create mush! I have been really happy! xo
I am love, love, loving the “Things I Love” post. I actually use the tea leaves strainer and found those years ago and the portable heater (in my garage during colder months). I will definitely be purchasing some of these things…to love. Getting tips like this takes the “looking for it” a little easier. Take care.
Oh, yay!! I’m so glad you are!! You are so right about that. I love putting it together and love sharing the things I’m loving with others!! xoxo
