Sharing Our Welcoming Spring Porch
Sharing our welcoming spring porch, with modern but comfortable choices and very spring like colors!
Hello sweet friends!
It finally feels like we are in full-swing with spring here on the coast of Virginia. Meaning it’s 80! haha! Per usual, it seems we might be skipping right to summer. But I’ll still take it.
However, I’m still rocking a spring porch though. I say “spring” because the colors I chose for the pillows, etc., is very spring-like. But I love it SO much that it might just stay through summer. I love having a porch to decorate. It sure has come a long way over the years. Or I should say, my decorating style has.
In this post, you’ll also get to see our newly painted house, new lights, new door, new house numbers, new posts (!)…so excited about those! I’ll be sharing all the details on that soon. But wow, what a difference it all makes. Our house looks so much more modern and updated outside now as well as inside. I love it.

I still love those “ferns” four years later! Here is the link to them.
The “welcome” sign can be found here.
Front door here.
Light fixtures here. (love them, they come on automatically every evening)
Front door mat here.
And cedar columns!! Just look at those beauties. I’ll be sharing a full tutorial on those soon.
Still love our rockers that were thrifted many, many years ago. They’ve been painted several times but they are still hanging in there.
And our house numbers are so fun! Love, love them too.
You can find them at Lowe’s, here.
I found these pillows (all of them on the porch) at At Home.
The plant on the lower table can be found here.
Various tables and things from TJ Maxx and HomeGoods.
I love that our shutters are my favorite color now! (and reflect more of what is happening on the inside of the house now too)
The lanterns beside the small table can be found here.
The shutters can be found here.
But these pillows though. Aren’t they so pretty??
I have the sweetest neighbors. The one across the street always tells me that our porch is so pretty! And that she loves what I do with it.
Love that!
I know it makes me happy every time I drive up and see it. We actually use the rockers from time to time so it’s not all “for looks”, it is not only pretty but definitely used by us!
We no longer have the back screened porch (still working on closing it in to make it into living space) but never really used it much anyway. So this is “our space” to enjoy outdoors and enjoy it we do!
Do you have a favorite outdoor space too?
PIN it to save it!
Happy spring friends! I hope you enjoyed seeing our welcoming spring porch for 2025!
Have a wonderful weekend!
xoxo
Love it! I can picture sitting there relaxing on a calm evening sipping a glass of merlot! 🤗
