These organic curved mirrors were just what this space needed! Plus, a new spot for my recently created framed prints!

Good morning, friends!

I’m back today to share what I did with the spaces on our wall where I recently shared the framed print set I made. Those were a bit too small for the space.
I planned to share them earlier this week, but they arrived late. And I had a little mishap on Sunday that kept me from getting much else done this week. I’ll tell y’all about it later. Haha, only me!!

Organic Curved Mirrors – Unique and Quirky, yes!

So, I created these prints and painted the frames, and actually decided to keep them. That was never the plan, just a simple redo to share with you here.

This print set features two framed prints of herons standing among beach grass and sand, with the ocean and sky behind. The light wood frames rest on a hardwood floor beside a wall, adding an elegant touch to any space.

If you missed it, you can read about it here.

And I thought the coloring would go great in our newly remodeled “wallpaper” room. I mean, the wallpaper is called “Seaside,” so the design and style, along with the coloring, all go well in here. (you can find the wallpaper here)

Bright living room with hanging prepasted strippable wallpaper, a white sofa with pillows and a blanket, two wooden side tables with lamps, a round coffee table with a plant and basket, and large windows with blue curtains.

So, I hung them up on each side of the window.

A cozy corner of a living room with patterned wallpaper, a framed print, a table lamp on an upcycled wooden side table, blue curtains, and part of a white couch.

And then realized they weren’t quite big enough to “stand alone”.

Well, that led me to my original plan.

Mirrors.

This wallpaper is so busy that it really doesn’t need much else. However, I wanted a little something else besides just the wallpaper.
But didn’t want boring, regular mirrors (or any other crazy artwork that would detract, or well, be too much).

I found these…

A decorative wall mirror with an organic curved, leaf-shaped wooden frame in a warm brown finish, featuring intersecting ends at the top and bottom.

And I thought, yes!! These are perfect.

A bright living room with a white couch, patterned pillows, and a small dog lying on the armrest. Unique mirrors adorn the walls, complementing the floral wallpaper, wooden side table, and gray-curtained windows.
The organic flow to them goes so naturally with the wallpaper’s flow. And that to me goes with, instead of detracting from it.

Did you notice my Piper girl?? I didn’t have the heart to make her move for the photos, lol.

A small black and white dog is curled up on a fluffy white blanket on a light-colored couch, surrounded by textured throw pillows and reflected in unique mirrors that add character to the cozy space.

Pillow covers are from here.

And did you notice her little bed beside the couch?? Yep, rarely lies there, always goes for the throws on the couches. lol

Bright living room with a white couch, neutral throw pillows, side tables with lamps, organic curved mirrors on patterned wallpaper, a ceiling fan, and large windows with gray curtains letting in natural light.

Aren’t they fun??

Gold-framed oval mirror with organic curved ends, mounted on floral-patterned wallpaper; its reflection reveals a light-filled room with a green chair, shelving, and blue curtains.

They are really nice, and, as my husband said, we have never hung up something SO easily when it arrived! haha!! Nope, we haven’t, because he unboxed them, and before I could even turn around and come help him, he had them both hung up… on the screws we had in for the prints! It just so happened to work out perfectly for these, too. Love that.

Love the color in here, too.

I originally found them on Ashley Furniture’s site for $129.99 each, but did a quick search on Amazon, and guess what? The exact same mirrors were there for $110.60 each. So I got them there. If you like them, you can find them here.

Now, what did I do with the prints, though?

We hung them up on another wall in here like this.

Two framed paintings of blue herons, one above the other, hang on a wall with floral-patterned wallpaper in soft pastel shades of blue, beige, and gray, next to organic curved mirrors that add a modern touch to the serene space.

Don’t they go so well in here??

A cozy corner with a gray armchair, a textured blue throw pillow, organic curved mirrors reflecting light, a tripod floor lamp, two framed beach-themed pictures on floral patterned wallpaper, and small items on a side table.

A cozy reading nook with a gray armchair, blue pillows, a side table stacked with books, a modern floor lamp, and floral wallpaper. Organic curved mirrors add flair above the white shelving with baskets and decor in the adjacent room.

Well, that’s it for today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

xoxo

The word Nancy is written in elegant, flowing black script, reminiscent of Chalk Style Paint For Furniture, with a heart shape used to form the dot above the letter i. The background is plain white.

  1. It looks great! The scale of the mirrors works better there. Your dog is so cute. I don’t blame her for choosing that spot. It looks comfy.
