Our Christmas Home 2022 Part 2
Welcome to Our Christmas Home, Part 2!
Hello beautiful friends! It’s almost Christmas, can you believe it?? Are you ready?
I’m basically ready, thank goodness! However, I haven’t sat and just relaxed in this season yet. I’m going to work hard on doing that through the end of this year though! I hope you do too. xoxo
Today I’m sharing the rest of our Christmas home decorated up for the holidays so go grab a cup of coffee/tea and visit along with me!
If you missed Part 1 last week, you can catch up right here first.
Our Christmas Home Part 2
Kitchen
Simple window decor with my “winter wonderland” sign above.
Get all the details on the sign here.
I kept it mostly simple in the kitchen. This mirrored snowflake is pretty in the window.
And a little greenery over top.
One of my past free printables printed out and popped into a frame. (you can find the post with these printables, here)
It’s true.
A wreath on my recently “patina’d” framed mirror.
I love to display Christmas cards on the ledge in here.
And of course, my Santa that counts down the days to Christmas! I found him at the thrift store years back and put him up here every year.
It is now 6 days until Christmas, it was 18 when I took this photo. :)
I love the view from the kitchen to the morning room…
…which I shared last week.
Living Room
And up on our Frame TV is one of the free printable/graphics I made to use on your Frame or smart TV. (or just print it out and use it that way if you like!)
You can find that post and printables here.
(see Ryder??lol)
Love this one too.
I like to do the more “red, traditional” in this room. I love the cozy feel that red seems to give at this time of year.
Another thrifty find I found and painted over the years. Love it.
Simple little touches here and there.
I still have my Santa sign I made years ago! (check out the tutorial here)
And can you believe I have somehow managed to keep this chalk art in good shape since I did it??? Which was in 2015!!
I have only had to touch up a tiny spot here or there since then. Wow.
Anyway, go check it out here.
Here’s how it goes around here…I take this shot…
And then take another … oops, hi Ryder!
He walked right through as I was snapping the shot! He’s the blur! lol
I don’t mind though.
He’s such a sweetheart.
Laundry Room & Guest Bath
You can see all the details about our laundry makeover here.
Another find painted white. I love the simple beauty of these painted white.
Greenery around the mirror in the guest bath.
Screened Porch
I put up my skinny little tree on the back porch. This is the first time I’ve put up 4 trees!
And honestly, I can see myself putting up this many or more… of these little skinny trees!! haha!
They are SO much easier, with fewer decorations, etc. I may transition to maybe one regular tree and the rest like this.
And whomp, whomp, whomp I didn’t realize the very top portion lights aren’t working until after I had taken all the photos.
Oh well!!
Anyway, I am loving having the porch decorated with a tree and all.
And that’s it! I hope you enjoyed our Christmas home.
Ryder says Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays all!!
He really looks like he’s saying “mom, please, what now?” haha!
I’ll be back later this week with some of my favorite scenes of Christmas past decor if you want to stop back by then!
Have a wonderful week and don’t forget to take some time for yourself too!
xoxo
That red and white throw and white with red tree is *Chef’s Kiss Gorgeous!*
Aw, thanks so much!! :) xo
Your home looks beautiful. I love your sassy Santa and all of your trees especially the white one in the morning room and everything in the living room. So pretty.
Thank you, Debra!! I just love that sassy Santa! :) Hope you had a wonderful Christmas! xo
Wow what a tour + 4 trees! Ryder reminds me of my dog RV he follows me the same way! Love the red in your front room!
Aw, sweet! Thank you, Vicki! Hope you had an amazing Christmas! xo
Just simply beautiful!
Thank you, Monique! xo
Your home is beautifully decorated! I absolutely adore the picture above your fireplace with the pine boughs and pinecones! It’s fantastic! Merry Christmas to you!
Thank you so much, Janet! That is one of the designs I created to display on our TV! :) Hoping you had a wonderful Christmas! xo
So beautiful!!! Questions-ha!: where did you get the skinny tree? Is that a scarf or a throw on the back of the couch? (Love seeing puppy in the pics!) The curtains on the screened in porch-tell me about them! Thank you! Linda
Thank you, Linda! The skinny tree came from Wal-Mart! It’s a blanket on the back of the couch. You can find the curtains here. :) Hope you had a wonderful holiday season! xo
Part 2 did not disappoint! Your home is just so incredibly festive and cute, Nancy!!!
My daughter’s sweet dog Derby is very sick with a tumor and has to go to MedVet tomorrow. This daughter doesn’t have human babies, just furry ones and she is absolutely devastated that these may be Derby’s last days. What a time, too, for all of this. Poor dears. Tell Ryder to send up some puppy prayers for her. (And you too, please!) Life won’t be the same without Derbs when the time comes. Hope it isn’t any time soon but we are holding our breaths till after the tests tomorrow.
Aw, thank you, Michele!
I am so, so sorry about your sweet Derby. I totally understand. My daughter does not have any human babies either…just our grand pup who is almost 11. I love her dearly! I am praying for Derby (and your daughter) that everything will be okay and that the tests turned out the way you all hoped. Sending hugs and love! xoxo
Thank you so much, Nancy. Everything looks beautiful! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your wonderful family.
Thank you so much, Marian! Happy New Year! xo
