Holiday Dessert Ideas For You (Foodie Chicks Rule)
Don’t you just love all the food at the holidays?
Namely, the desserts? Yes.
I know, I know, that’s all the more reason for New Year’s resolutions!
Oh, live a little. ;)
Anyway, in case you all don’t know by now, I also have a food blog called, Foodie Chicks Rule.
I don’t share as often over there as I’d like because this blog keeps me so busy.
BUT…I thought I’d share a few of the recipes I’ve posted over there recently that would be great for the holidays!
Hope you enjoy!
Of course I’ll need to start with a few that are right here on this blog (before I decided to keep food and DIY separate)
This is not your typical recipe. This is the “original” (I am told) and passed down to me 20+ years ago by a family member.
I created this goodness. And it is GOOD. (and pretty for presentation)
No that is not the real name but it is the name the kids (my husband and cousins) gave it when they were young.
Another family favorite passed down to me. (Perfect for Christmas morning)
And NO, it’s NOT a dessert but I had to include it!!
GLUTEN FREE PUMPKIN BREAD WITH CREAM CHEESE FILLING
You can make this one gluten free or not. It’s really good with that filling. YUM. :)
Comfort food…I mean dessert. So warm and delicious.
A favorite…soooo good (and really easy too!)
These are the best sugar cookie ever. You should make them. :)
This is probably one of all time favorite desserts. I literally can NOT make it often because if there are any leftovers at all, I will eat it every day until it’s gone.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Another favorite. I know, I say that about them all but they are all from my food blog.
And I only share what I LOVE there, right? ;)
The best, most moist and most flavorful gingerbread you will ever eat!
The Brown Sugar Bourbon Sauce is not the prettiest but it sure is tasty! ;)
The is a super easy bread pudding that can be served with that, vanilla custard or even maple syrup and for breakfast.
And if it’s snowing where you are….
With or without the chocolate chips, of course.
I know these are all desserts but what else do we eat during the month of December?? ;)
Kidding, but we do seem to be surrounded by goodies so I thought I’d share mine.
I’ll also share this one for after the holidays. :)
We’ll get back on track together…..
I hope you enjoy these if you decide to try any of them.
Just click the links and hop over to the other blog to print the recipes out for future use anyway!
I’d love to know if you try them…and if you liked them. :)
I’ll be back next week with some beautiful CHRISTMAS HOME TOURS.
I’ve gathered a collection of tours shared by my blogger friends just for you.
Hope you have a great weekend and I will see y’all then!
