  1. I would purchase supplies to redo my herb container garden and supplies to make a succulent planter in the shape of a L for my patio. Maybe I would add a colorful outdoor rug for the patio. Thank you.

  2. Great tutorial! Love the decor you choose too!
I would spend the gift card on helping to replace a bathroom. We sprung a leak in an upstairs bath. As you can guess, it was not pretty. But that’s what I’d use it for.
    Good luck to everyone.
    Be blessed, Hope

  3. Oh boy I could have a field day with $200 in Home Depot. I’d probaby stock up on chak paintand supplies! Thanks for the chance to win!

  4. I could do so much with $200! I want to put your darling shelves in my bathroom, I want to do painting in every room, landscaping, a new light fixture for the spare bedroom! So many awesome projects!

  5. Wow! Home Depot is my go-to place for reno and gardening needs!
I love the shelves and may add them to my bathroom. Thanks so much for the instructions link and the other helpful tips.
Thank you for the chance to win this awesome prize! I love shopping at Home Depot!

  6. So many possibilities. I would most likely use the money to redo my bedroom. It needs updating! Those shelves would be wonderful in there.

  7. I would use it to buy a new faucet for my kitchen sink that is high enough for me to get everything underneath for washing. I have been working on remodeling and making my house a home since 2013. It takes me awhile because of chronic lyme disease but in the slower process, I have had time to continue learning and looking and growing in my expectations of what I want to do and how I want it to look. My Dad is a consummate DIY king4 and he has been such a support for me and I am learning from him. Can’t wait to get my kitchen started and remade !

  8. I would buy paint and flooring resin to paint the walls in the dining room and install an aged paperbag resin floor.

  9. So I am definitely new to the DIY group. Trying some small scale projects at the moment. My fiance and I are moving to indiana in the next month. We are starting to look at houses for sale even though we will probably be renting for the first 6 months. $200 for home depot would go a long for us to start making our first home our own Since we have lived apart for the past 4 years. . And by apart I mean Pennsylvania to arizona apart. We are so excited to finally be starting this journey together and we are looking forward to creating the best space for us both.

  10. This would be awesome! I would definitely use the win to purchase beautiful handles and knobs for my bathroom which I am close to finally finishing after 3 years!! ;)

  11. I love these shelves. They are what I have been looking for my newly remodeled kitchen. They will fit nicely right by my window.

  12. What is funny is that I was just looking at my bathroom the other day and was thinking “ugh” needs a major makeover. One of the things I want to do is floating shelves like you have in the picture to display some items and we need to paint as well. This would be awesome for our summer project. Thanks to you and Home Depot for this giveaway!

  13. Great tutorial! I long for some more Ryobi 18+one tools… like the jig saw… and so much more. I’d like to make a couple of bookcases on wheels. :) Heavy duty! :)))

  14. I would buy chalk paints and stains to copy your old coffee table thrift store find and white wash stain on my kitchen table, coffee table, and end tables. I would buy nail heads and your favorite aubusson blue, and use those for my fish tank stand.

But really, my hubby and I have been wanting an island for the kitchen, so if I won $200 from Home Depot, I would share it with him and put money towards that (because we would still have to buy the paints and stains anyways YAY!).

  15. Well that’s an easy question Nancy, we plan on building a new shed in our back yard this summer so if I won the gift card it would all go towards the building materials for this project (which will be purchased from Home Depot regardless if I win).

  16. I would love to win the $200! I am in the process of buying a house so I will be spending plenty of time at Home depot. I would most likely use it to get some paint so that I can make my new home my own. :)

  17. We are breaking ground next week on a 1,000 sq ft addition (I’m getting a studio! Yea!). I’d use HD $$ towards a marble floor for our master bath.

  18. We poured a new patio last fall and need fencing to finish it off. Thanks for the opportunity and I love your blog.

  19. I want to buy beadboard for a closet that I want to spotlight. I have an old dresser to put in it. I also will put shelves above the dresser.

  20. I would use at least some of it on additional shelving in the apartment I am currently renting. Anything remaining would be spent on starting an indoor herb garden, so that when I move, I can take it with me.
    P.S. I love floating shelves!!!!!!

  21. I’m moving from WV to CO in a few months and I’d love to use the gift card to make my new place feel like home :)

  22. These floating shelves look like a great weekend project. Fun too.
    Love the table!
I would use it to get ship lap for my living room.

  23. I could do so much with a $200 Home Depot card! We are renovating an old house with a small budget. Love your ideas on here. It would go towards paint, baseboards & trims, or maybe something that we wouldn’t have bought normally!!

  24. Great tutorial, Nancy! Iā€™d use HD gift card towards landscaping as our front yard really needs a face lift.

  25. I would buy products for the back and front yard to make it beautiful again for the spring and summer months.

  26. I’ve always wondered how to make floating shelves, they look so sleek and clean but I always thought it was a hard process….love the tutorial.

I would use the $200 to buy some wood and stain to build a coffee table as my next diy project.

  27. I would love to win the Home Depot prize. We are getting ready to move into a new home, just waiting for the paperwork to get finished. Currently the paint on the walls are a bright orange in the master bedroom and a purplish blue in the other, a green in the living room. It’s quite colorful to say the least. P.s I couldn’t follow on Intrgram because I don’t have that or a clue on how to do any of that. Thanks

  28. I’d start off buying chalk paint with the money. I’d love to try it. And plants, plants, plants.

  29. I’m going to use $200 towards a storage shed. Need to clean out the garage. It’s on it’s last legs and close to collapse.

  30. Oh how i would love to win, I am redoing our whole house right now. Just got down painting the kitchen and now to the cabinets

  31. I thought I commented already! I LOVE how your shelves turned out and I would use $200 bucks to the Home Depot towards new french doors in our bedroom! Make sure I win!

  32. I’m in the process of redoing some things. Tomorrow I’m refinishing the front door and this week going to tackle staining the fence…it’s looking lil shabby so time for refreshing! In the next couple of weeks I’m gonna redo a guest room from top to bottom. I also inherited a bunch of wood furniture from my dads old house and want to paint it and totally change it up! ) I was actually at home depot the other day..bought stain and stuff for the door and fence. A $200 gift card would be very helpful!!! I need paint for the guest room and I really need a drill!! Fingers crossed!!! :))

  33. The first thing I would do is buy some of the Polyshades stain that you use!!!! I love the combination you use on your tables!!!

  34. We could definitely use a $200 Home Depot card right about now! I’m going to help my daughter with some projects around her house. We’re starting from scratch so need a drill, a nail gun, you name it! HA

  35. If I won $200.00 I would either tile above the shower or I would finish the privacy fence in my backyard so I could decorate it with cool diy’s from pinterst and plant a garden in front of it!

  36. I would get my backyard summer ready for our kids. We need to put fresh sand or wood chips around the swing set. I’d like to get lumber for my husband to build a playhouse too.

  37. I would put it towards materials for a privacy fence in our backyard. My husband needs a summer project :)

  38. I would use it to get new faucets for my bathroom. I also need to paint the walls because the previous home owner put up cheap paint and you can see steam/water marks on the walls after showers. Ugh!

  39. Ohh wow, this would be soo helpful right now!! My family and I are attempting to redo a bedroom, patio and office!! Due to limited finances the projects are going slow. I guess the first thing I’d buy is paint! :)

  40. This summer I’m starting a garden with my daughter. We want to have lots of veggies and herbs so $200 at the depot would come in great to get all our supplies!! Fingers crossed!! :)

  41. Our home could use a new paint job, I would use the gift card for paint & painting supplies

  42. I’d get supplies to build a vanity top into an art niche in my bedroom. A few shelves above would store all I need to turn that blank area into a practical and pretty little space.
